It's Christmas Time!

Ethan absolutely loves Christmas and right now it's not even about the presents. He loves to decorate the trees and see the lights. Thanksgiving night we helped put up my mom's tree and a couple of days later she took out her small tree and let Ethan decorate it all by himself. He actually did a really good job and is extra proud of his little tree. When it came time for us to put up our tree I thought that Ethan would be completely over his excitement, but once again I was wrong! He is so into Christmas that he will wish complete strangers Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! My mom got him a little Santa hat which he loves to wear when we go out, at least I don't have to worry about his head being cold!

Ethan's finished room!

Since I was working so hard on Lizzie's room I felt like Ethan's room needed some attention too! It's amazing what a change some curtains and wall stickers make! Ethan chose Mickey Mouse for his room and loves to show it off.

The best daddy!

When I was pregnant with Ethan we put together my dream nursery. My parents even came over and helped us paint his room, clouds and all. A couple of weeks after Ethan was born we sold our house and he never got to sleep in his room.

When we found out that we were going to have another baby we were sure that it was another boy so I assumed that Ethan would share his room. When we found out that we were having a girl I wanted to have my nursery back but there was no room in our new house. Owen being a great dad and husband gave up his office so that Lizzie could have her room and I could have my nursery. I can never thank him enough for doing this for us. In the past year he has given up so much for our family.

Below are some pictures of the nursery (my mom made her curtains!)

Movie Eater (theater)

The day before Thanksgiving I decided to take Ethan to see his first movie in the theater. He was so excited, especially since our friends Brittany and Kasen were going with us. I was really worried that Ethan wouldn't make it through the movie but he proved me wrong! I had to sit out with him during the previews because he found them scary but once the movie started he was completely into it. We went to see Madagascar2 and he still hasn't stopped talking about it.

6 months and counting!

Mommy's little helper

Like father like son....Ethan has now decided that he no longer likes to go to the grocery store so since going without him is not an option I had to come up with something to get him to go. I decided to try the little shopping carts at Ralph's and it did the trick. The only problem is that I have to put something heavy in it right away to slow him down and I can't load up on groceries! This picture was our first shopping trip with the new cart and it was been very successful!

Catching up - Halloween in Arizona

We decided to go spend Halloween in Arizona. Ethan was Superman this year and had a ton of fun knocking on doors to get candy. Every year my brother and his family do a fun Halloween trick that brings people from all over to see, this year we did floating candy!

Catching Up - Carving pumpkins

Ethan couldn't wait to carve pumpkins but it was way to soon so Papa and Da bought some foam pumpkins from Michael's and we went to Papa's Gallery to carve them with him.

Catching up Pumpking Patch

October wouldn't be the same without a trip to Bates Nut Farm. We went with Papa and Da (grandma) to find the perfect pumpkin, go for a hayride, and get lost in the maze. Everyone had a great time!

Catching up - Utah

In the beginning of October we took a trip to Utah for Owen's brothers wedding. We had a lot of fun. Our trip included many fun things like fun filled days with Grandma Tammy, Jumping on the trampoline with Daddy and going to the Dinosaur Park with Hyrum and Haven.

Catching up - MIchelle's Birthday

I had a really special birthday this year....Owen had to work so my mom made me a cake and we celebrated at her house before his shift started. I got to go to lunch with the girls at souplantation which was lots of fun and really yummy! The next weekend we went to dinner and a movie with our friends Brittany and Jeremy. It was a lot of fun to get out without the kids!

Catching up - Owen's Graduation

It been so long since I have blogged that I decided that it was time to do some catching up..hopefully I wont get this far behind again. Below are pictures of Owen's graduation and pride run. We are all very proud of Owen and his new career!

Sea Life Aquarium Legoland

After the ultrasound we decided to take Ethan to the Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland. We had a great time and Ethan loved looking at the fish. His favorite part was the sharks and the "Nemo fish" (clown fish). They did a great job on the aquarium its really kid and adult friendly.

Daddy and Ethan

"Oh Nemo Fish!!!!"

Its a Girl!!!!

That's right we just found out today that we are having a Girl! Owen and Ethan went with me to find out and the room got very silent when the technician said that there was nothing in between the legs. I think that Owen may have stopped breathing. Ethan is still set that he is getting a baby brother and Owen thinks that the technician must have missed something. I am excited to have some balance in our home!

Now we are in desperate need for names, any suggestions would be welcomed!

Okay all of you bloggers out there that pressured me to start this blog, you win! So here I am playing with this thing instead of working lol. As everyone can see our family blog is currently under construction and since I have a huge project due on Friday it might remain that way until this weekend. Unless of course I decide to slack off again tomorrow! I hope to post some fun pictures soon!
